Growing up in the West Nashville area, James spent his formative years at Park Avenue Baptist Church where he became a Christian at the age of 12. Several years later, while serving in the youth ministry area, James felt God leading him to become a full-time minister. He started out in youth work before transitioning to a pastoral role, and he is still serving as passionately almost 30 years later. He has also added education to his toolbox, with a Master’s degree in Christian Education, a Masters of Divinity degree, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree.

Matt is one of the newest members of the New Day Band, but he's quickly become an integral part of both the sound and the personality.

Daniel & Grace have been married since 2021, and happily call themselves high school sweethearts. They have both graduated college, and are building a life together as they figure out what God is calling them to do. They have been faithful members of our church for several years now, and fill the roles of media positions. On a typical Sunday, you will find Grace taking photos and running livestream audio and video. Daniel is our behind the scenes guy taking photos/videos, and coordinating the screens and visuals!

Jonny started running sound pretry shortly after starting to attend New Day Church. He's happy to help set up and tear down each week, run sound, help out with the livestream, and recently done work on the chruch website.
