Growing up in the West Nashville area, James spent his formative years at Park Avenue Baptist Church where he became a Christian at the age of 12. Several years later, while serving in the youth ministry area, James felt God leading him to become a full-time minister. He started out in youth work before transitioning to a pastoral role, and he is still serving as passionately almost 30 years later. He has also added education to his toolbox, with a Master’s degree in Christian Education, a Masters of Divinity degree, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree.

Meghan received her degree in songwriting from Belmont University. She loves to write music, play with her dog and go on adventures! Meghan has used her songwriting skills to write two worship songs so far, and is excited how God will work through her music in her future! Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 66:4 “The whole earth will worship you and sing praise to you. They will sing praise to your name.”

As the daughter of Jim and Pam Gibbs, she's been a part of the New Day Family for years. She now happily works with all of our little ones every week.
